Today we are going to go through my ranking of Mary-Kate and Ashley movies. I was obsessed with the Olsens growing up, and I don’t think I’d ever say an Olsen twins movie was bad because I loved them too much!
This list doesn’t include all the smaller films they did – those deserve their own ranking!
I’d love to hear your list for these:
1. IT TAKES TWO (1995)
This will forever be my all-time favorite. I watched it OVER AND OVER AGAIN. When my friends used to come over, I would beg us to act this out and pretend we were strangers who were twins.
Stream on Fandango at Home, Prime Video and Apple TV

2. PASSPORT TO PARIS (1999)
This movie came out right around the time we could pick languages for school, and it made me initially want to be a French teacher and take French. I loved the vibe of this one! Stream on Apple TV, Google Play Movies, and Vudu.

3. DOUBLE, DOUBLE TOIL AND TROUBLE (1993)
I’m sure people may not agree with 3 and 4 compared to some of the others, BUT to me, these were their OG films and where we truly got to see them outside of Michelle Tanner. I watch this one every fall! I mean, even the promo photos are such a vibe!! Stream on iTunes, Google Play, and Prime Video.

4. TO GRANDMOTHER’S HOUSE WE GO (1992)
Again, a classic!! I thought this one was so sweet, and I watch it every holiday. I love seeing Danny Tanner and Aunt Becky at the ending too! Stream on Apple TV, Vudu and Prime Video.

5. NEW YORK MINUTE (2004)
I think this one really hits hard, knowing that it’s the last Olsen twins movie we ever got. They had been such a part of our lives that I feel like we never saw that coming. It’s also such a great 2000s vibe movie and made me want to zip off to New York. Stream on Vudu, Amazon, and Prime Video

6. HOW THE WEST WAS FUN (1994)
To me, this was another one that makes me think so much of my childhood. Coming out closer to the time of It Takes Two, I watched this one over and over again. It made me want to line dance! Stream on iTunes, Google Play, Vudu, Amazon, and Prime Video.

7. OUR LIPS ARE SEALED (2000)
Can I please have all the outfits here? This made me want to go to Australia so badly. I also thought the crime and witness protection program was a unique spin! Stream on Apple TV, Vudu and Prime Video.

8. HOLIDAY IN THE SUN (2001)
Cue the early 2000s and the Bahamas! Every time I hear Weezer’s Holiday in the Sun, I can’t help but think of this movie! This is where we are first introduced to Megan Fox as well (you know, Chelsea from *Love Is Blind*’s lookalike). Stream on Prime Video, iTunes, Vudu and Apple TV.

9. BILLBOARD DAD (1998)
Billboard Dad was a really cool movie. Set in California, it had all the vibes, and I feel like this is where we started to see a bit more of the sort of movies that would be made ahead. Stream on iTunes, Google Play, Vudu, Amazon and Prime Video.

10. SWITCHING GOALS (1999)
It ranked last on my list, but it was still one I watched over and over. It came out at a time when getting involved in sports and activities at school was cool and becoming more of a thing. So, I loved that this was current at that time in my life. Stream on iTunes, Vudu, Prime Video and Apple TV.
