ON MAY 1ST, 1989 DISNEYS MGM STUDIOS OPENED

Back in 1989, Disney MGM Studios started off as this cool movie- and entertainment-themed pavilion over in Epcot’s Future World. But you know what happened? The Walt Disney Imagineers were bursting with so many awesome ideas that the pavilion couldn’t contain them all! It quickly outgrew its space and voila, it became its very own park. 

In 2008 it was rebranded to Disney’s Hollywood Studios.  You’ve got this amazing place dedicated to all things movies and entertainment, with rides, shows and magic around every corner. It’s like stepping right into the heart of Hollywood!

Let me tell you, walking around Disney’s Hollywood Studios will always hit you right in the nostalgia. Whether it’s the classic movie themes, the iconic sights, or the way they bring your favorite films to life—it’s like reliving some of the best memories from the silver screen. Disney really knows how to make you feel like a star!
