Let’s talk about the epic Blizzard Beach Waterpark at Walt Disney World. It still holds true to that 90’s vibe that we dreamed of going to as kids.
When you go to Blizzard Beach for the 1st time a rush of icy coolness smacks you in the face, a welcome feeling from the sweltering Florida sun.
It’s like stepping into a winter wonderland smack dab in the middle of summer – snow-capped peaks, shimmering slopes, the whole shebang.

Now, let’s dish on the rides. Oh snap! Since we didn’t have a lot to compare it to back in the day, Blizzard Beach was packing some serious heat! Summit Plummet was the bomb – a straight-down freefall that had your heart racing faster than a ’90s pop chart-topper. And don’t even get me started on Slush Gusher – zooming down that twisty slide was like a turbocharged thrill ride straight out of our wildest dreams.

You could kick back on Cross Country Creek, lazily floating along and soaking up those chill vibes. Or you could unleash your inner kid at Tike’s Peak, where splashing and giggling were practically mandatory.
