Familiar yet unique products include jewelry, home decor, accessories and more! All pieces are designed in house and the majority are made by hand in house with laser cut acrylic and polymer clay. Tell us a little bit about yourself
My name is Nia and I make jewelry, accessories, home decor and more as Honey Hearted! I love things that are colorful and fun and absolutely love everything from my childhood in the 90s.
Tell us a bit about your shop
I work with polymer clay as well as a laser cutter to create a wide array of different pieces, most inspired by my childhood. I am primarily online but I do pop up in person from time to time.
You have so many neat things! Tell us about what you sell
My work is mainly based on nostalgia and my childhood in the 90s – I mainly offer earrings, but I also create other accessories such as charm necklaces, keychains and bag charms. I am working on adding hair claws to my shop right now too. I also make home decor, such as wall hangings and coasters!
What was the inspiration behind the shop?
My childhood in the 90s combined with my love of loud, exciting accessories.
When did you create the shop?
I created my shop in spring of 2020!
What is your most popular product?
Definitely earrings and at present, the Pocket World varieties of earrings are what most folks are choosing.
What do you think is one of the coolest things you’ve ever made?
The Pocket Worlds – they were a huge challenge in terms of learning how to design in that way but I was able to accomplish so many of the things I wanted to do with them, especially the moving pieces!
What were your favorite toys growing up?
Polly Pockets, Barbies, Legos and any art supply ever
Name some 90’s or 00’s commercials that you can still see vivdly
Barbie Dream House and Polly Pocket commercials are always in my head but also all of those CD commercials – such as “Now That’s What I Call Music”
What inspired the epcot birthday barbie earrings?
My sisters and I watched the VHS tape all of the time growing up and loved it so much – the combination of Barbie and Disney was sublime. I wanted it in earring form but I also really wanted to honor Barbie by making them pink!
If you could be in any throw back movie what would it be?
The 1996 adaptation of Romeo + Juliet
Favorite childhood book?
Coraline by Neil Gaiman
If you could see any celeb wear your products – who would it be?
I think Beyonce could really pull off my products

Anything cool and upcoming you can share with us?
Hair claw clips are coming to the shop very soon. I also will be vending at the Oddities and Curiosities Expo in Michigan this July – it’ll be the biggest in person event I’ve ever done.
