90’S UNIVERSAL STUDIOS ORLANDO

On June 7, 1990, Universal Studios Orlando officially opened its gates to the public, ushering in a new era of theme park entertainment in Florida. The grand opening was a spectacle filled with excitement and anticipation, as guests eagerly queued up to experience the magic of Universal’s cinematic world firsthand.

In the 90s, Universal Studios Orlando offered classic rides that continue to captivate fans today. The E.T. Adventure allowed guests to journey with the beloved extraterrestrial, while Jaws thrilled adventurers on a tour through Amity Island. Back to the Future: The Ride whisked riders through time, Earthquake: The Big One simulated chaos, and Kongfrontation immersed visitors in the streets of New York City. These iconic experiences defined the era of theme park entertainment at Universal Studios Orlando.

Woody Woodpecker, with his infectious laugh and mischievous antics, could often be spotted in the vibrant KidZone area, while the lovable mouse Fievel from “An American Tail” captured the hearts of visitors as he navigated the bustling streets of New York City.
